PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) is accelerating its business transformation by focusing development on four main segments: Mitra Bukalapak, Gaming, Investment, and Retail. This move aims to strengthen the company’s fundamentals while creating more sustainable growth amid increasingly fierce competition in the digital industry. Since early 2025, Bukalapak officially ceased the sale of physical goods through its application and website. The company is now directing its business strategy towards segments deemed to have clearer profitability prospects and the ability to provide added value to the national digital economy. Corporate Secretary Cut Fika Lutfi stated that the transformation is an effort by the company to maintain business relevance while strengthening its economic contribution amidst changing market behaviour. “This transformation reflects management’s efforts to ensure each business segment remains relevant to evolving market dynamics, while also delivering a stronger economic impact,” Cut Fika said in a statement on Wednesday (24/6/2026). This strategy has begun to be reflected in the company’s financial performance. Throughout 2025, Bukalapak recorded revenue of Rp 6.5 trillion, growing approximately 46 percent compared to Rp 4.5 trillion in the previous year. This growth continued into early 2026. In the first quarter of 2026, revenue increased 63 percent year-on-year (yoy) from Rp 1.5 trillion to Rp 2.4 trillion. In addition to revenue growth, Bukalapak also achieved an important milestone by recording a positive Adjusted EBITDA of Rp 4 billion in Q1 2026. In the same period last year, the company recorded a negative Adjusted EBITDA of Rp 20 billion. The performance improvement was driven by strong revenue growth and continuous operational optimisation. In its business development, Bukalapak positions Mitra Bukalapak as one of the main pillars for strengthening the grassroots economy. Through an online-to-offline (O2O) model, the company empowers micro, small, and medium enterprises, traditional kiosks, and individual agents via business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) solutions.
