Efforts to improve education quality are being strengthened through collaboration between the Astra Foundation - Astra Michael D. Ruslim Education Foundation and Asuransi Astra. One such initiative is the inauguration of school facilities in Lebak Regency, Banten.

The facilities built include school fields, sanitation amenities, and classroom painting. This initiative aims to create a healthier, more comfortable learning environment that optimally supports student development.

Chairman of the Astra Foundation - Astra Michael D. Ruslim Education Foundation, Gunawan Salim, stated that the construction not only provides infrastructure but also opens opportunities for the growth of hope among the younger generation.

“Every space built with care will become a place where dreams grow. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide an environment that encourages learning enthusiasm while shaping students’ character,” he said.

Under the theme “Asuransi Astra Synergy for Sustainable Education”, this activity represents the tangible role of the business world in supporting improvements in education quality in the regions.

President Director of Asuransi Astra, Maximiliaan Agatisianus, emphasised the company’s commitment to providing benefits not only to customers but also to the surrounding community.

“We want to provide peace of mind not only to customers but also to society. We hope this collaboration will benefit educational progress, both now and in the future,” he said.

The school field is expected to serve as a facility for developing students’ sportsmanship and teamwork. Meanwhile, improvements to sanitation facilities support a healthier environment, and classroom updates enhance comfort and learning motivation.

The local government, through the Head of the Lebak Regency Education Office, Doddy Irawan, also appreciated the collaboration.

“We express our thanks for the support given in developing education in Lebak Regency. In the future, we hope such activities can continue to produce new talents towards Golden Indonesia 2045,” he said.

In the future, the Astra Foundation hopes similar collaborations can be expanded so that more schools can benefit from better learning environments.

Through this initiative, the built facilities are expected not only to serve as physical infrastructure but also as spaces that nurture hope and open future opportunities for Indonesia’s younger generation.
