Building Fitness Certificate for Terra Drone Office Expired Since 2020
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Building Fitness Certificate (SLF) for the building used as the office of PT Terra Drone Indonesia actually expired in 2020. Up to the time of the fire on 9 December 2025, the building’s SLF had not yet been renewed. This fact was revealed during the third hearing of the Terra Drone office fire case at the Central Jakarta District Court, Kemayoran, on Wednesday (15/4/2026). “Yes, that’s correct, Your Honour,” said Inggrid. The judge then asked whether the expired SLF affected technical aspects, such as the fire protection system, evacuation routes, and building safety standards. He also questioned whether this condition meant the building no longer met safety standards. Inggrid confirmed both points. “That’s probably why renewing the SLF is necessary,” said Inggrid. She also confirmed that there had been no record from PT Terra Drone Indonesia requesting renewal of the SLF from the DKI Jakarta Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Affairs Agency. “Yes, as I mentioned earlier, that is the responsibility of the building owner,” added Inggrid. Previously reported, the Terra Drone Building fire case in Kemayoran has now entered the trial stage. Spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court, Andi Saputra, said the first hearing of the Terra Drone Building fire case was held on 11 March 2026. The second hearing was then held on 1 April 2026 with the agenda of examining witnesses.
