Building a Zero-Carbon Future | LiuGong Hosts Sixth Global Customer Day in Liuzhou
Liuzhou, China — LiuGong (000528.SZ) held its sixth Global Customer Day in Liuzhou, China, on 31 May. The event was attended by numerous high-profile figures, including Su Zimeng, President of the China Construction Machinery Association; Song Zhiping, President of the China Association for Public Companies; and Zheng Jin, Chairman of LiuGong Group and LiuGong Machinery, alongside Luo Guobing, Vice Chairman and President of LiuGong Machinery. The gathering brought together over 1,200 customers, partners, industry experts, and media representatives from more than 50 countries and regions to witness LiuGong’s latest achievements in sustainability, smart technology, and globalisation, while discussing the future of low-carbon transformation in the heavy construction machinery industry.
LiuGong showcased more than 150 units of heavy machinery at the event, approximately half of which were based on new energy. The programme included discussions on zero-carbon intelligent mining and electrification solutions, machinery demonstrations, testing sessions, and factory tours. During the event, Luo Guobting outlined LiuGong’s global business development strategy, while customers from South Africa shared success stories regarding the use of LiuGong products, demonstrating the company’s capacity for innovation and comprehensive solutions for the global market.
Zero-Carbon Intelligent Mining Solutions
At the event, LiuGong officially launched its Zero-Carbon Intelligent Mining Solution, which encompasses green energy, intelligent equipment, digital management, and full product life-cycle services. LiuGong also presented its latest mining machinery and solutions through live product demonstrations on-site.
Live Customer Testing
The product testing sessions were among the most anticipated parts of the event. Participants operated several of LiuGong’s flagship products, including electric wheel loaders and autonomous mining trucks, allowing customers to experience the performance of the machinery and the synergy of LiuGong’s integrated solutions.
Delivery of the 600,000th Wheel Loader
As LiuGong’s wheel loader business enters its 60th year, the company officially marked a significant milestone with the delivery of its 600,000th wheel loader unit. Since launching its first wheel loader in China in 1966, LiuGong has continued to drive industrial innovation and expand its global reach, contributing to the development of China’s heavy construction machinery industry.
Stronger Partnerships, Shared Success
During the event, LiuGong also formalised strategic partnerships, secured significant orders from customers, and recognised business partners to strengthen collaborations with clients and partners worldwide. As part of the festivities, guests enjoyed a night tour of the Liujiang River and a drone light show showcasing the charm of Liuzhou and LiuGong’s corporate culture.
