Budi Delta Swakarya Increases Stake in BUDI with Rp43 Billion Share Purchase

The controlling shareholder of PT Budi Starch & Sweetener (BUDI), Budi Delta Swakarya, has purchased 204 million shares, representing a 4.54% stake in the cassava processing company, at a price of Rp210 per share. Based on information disclosed to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Tuesday (11/8/2026), the total transaction value reached Rp43 billion. The transaction was carried out on 5 August 2026. Following this transaction, PT Budi Delta Swakarya’s ownership in BUDI increased to 1,690,967,732 shares, or 37.65%, compared to the previous holding of 1,487,271,833 shares, or 33.11%. Management clarified that the transaction is intended for long-term investment. The purchase price was lower than the market price at the time, which was Rp220 per share. Today, BUDI’s share price closed at Rp210 per share.
