Budget for Simultaneous Village Head Elections in West Manggarai: Rp 2.2 Billion
The West Manggarai Regency Government has allocated more than Rp 2 billion to finance the 2026 Simultaneous Village Head Elections. The funds for the elections in 64 villages come from the 2026 West Manggarai Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
“Total budget Rp 2.2 billion,” said the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Agency (DPMD) of West Manggarai, Pius Baut, on Monday (20/4/2026).
The 2026 Simultaneous Village Head Elections will be held on 29 September. Pius explained that the budget will be used for procuring election logistics, security, and honorariums for the committees. The election committees will be formed at the village to regency levels.
“The allocation is for village head election logistics, security, and honorariums for village head election committees from the village to regency levels,” Pius clarified.
