Budget Cinema Programme Expanded to More Cities
The public’s need to manage expenditures has driven the demand for affordable entertainment options that do not compromise quality time with family and friends. One such initiative is the special-priced cinema ticket programme, which has now been expanded to more regions.
Cinépolis Cinemas is expanding its ‘Selasa Nomat’ (Budget Cinema) programme nationally throughout September 202lar. The programme is valid every Tuesday from 1 to 29 September 2026, across 55 of the 59 Cinépolis locations in Indonesia.
Four locations are excluded from this programme: Cinépolis Blu Plaza Bekasi, Cinépolis Mall of Serang, Cinépolis Plaza Medan Fair, and Cinépolis Q Mall Banjarbaru.
The ‘Selasa Nomat’ programme was previously introduced in 2025 in several locations, including Siantar City Square, Lippo Plaza Sunset, and Kalibata City Square. The programme received a positive response from audiences seeking more affordable viewing options.
During the programme period, viewers can obtain special prices based on the studio type. Tickets for Regular, Junior, Macro XE, and 3D formats are priced at Rp25,000. For the Junior format, this price does not include play area fees, except for the sofa bed option, while 3D formats do not include the cost of glasses.
JOMO, Magnify8, Luxe, and Comfort studios are available at a price of Rp35,000. Meanwhile, tickets for VIP studios, Junior sofa beds, and D-Box are priced at Rp40,000. For the Junior sofa bed, the price does not include play area fees.
The programme is open to all viewers and does not require Club Cinépolis membership. Sandeep Atal, Revenue Director of Cinépolis Cinemas Indonesia, stated that the expansion of the programme is part of an effort to maintain public access to the big-screen cinema experience.
“Selasa Nomat is a manifestation of our commitment to ensuring that movie moments remain affordable for the wider community, without sacrificing the standards of quality, comfort, and guest service that define Cinépolis. Now, more people in various cities across Indonesia can enjoy this programme,” said Sandeep, as quoted on Wednesday (2/9).
With a coverage of 55 locations, the programme includes Cinépolis cinemas in various cities, including developing regions. The expansion aims to ensure that the big-screen experience remains a viable entertainment choice for the public.
