JAKARTA (JP): Amurvabhumi Buddhist Temple on Jl. Dr. Satrio in
South Jakarta collected rice Thursday in conjunction with the
commemoration of its 77th anniversary.

The collection resulted in one ton of rice, 30 cartons of
noodles and 200 liters of cooking oil being donated. The food was
given to Mandiri Karsa 02, a social institution owned by the City
Social Service Office in Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta, Antara
reported.

The donation was given by Amurvabhumi Temple Foundation head
Hendako Soedjito to Mandiri Karsa 02 chief H.M. Ali Adi, and was
witnessed by Indonesian Buddhist Conference head Oka Diputhera,
and a representative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs,
