Indonesia: Beyond The Reefs (National Geographic Channel,

Indonesia's coral reefs are among the world's largest and
boast an extraordinary diversity of marine life. But for years,
these reefs have come under constant attack. Dynamite fishing and
other destructive practices threaten to destroy the reefs, and in
some cases have already turned vibrant habitats into gray,
lifeless tracts. Even traditional fishing methods have put the
reefs at risk by exhausting its bounty.

In some areas, increasing industrial development has
introduced waste and runoff into the reefs. As a result, the
future of earth's most vital marine environment hangs in the
balance.
