BTS Tops Billboard's Top Tours Chart with 840,000 Fans in North America
K-pop group BTS attracted approximately 840,000 fans during their ‘Arirang’ tour in North America, according to agency Big Hit Music on Saturday (30 May 2026). The group performed 15 concerts across five cities including Tampa, Florida, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, and Las Vegas. All tickets for BTS’s North American concerts sold out. During performances of the new song ‘Body to Body’, tens of thousands of fans sang along. ‘It created a thrilling moment. Traditional Korean melodies filled the large stadiums, creating a special moment that connected people beyond national and language barriers,’ Big Hit said, citing Maeil Business on Sunday (31 May 2026). BTS also topped Billboard’s Top Tours chart after generating $76.2 million (approximately Rp1.3 trillion) from eight shows in Goyang, Tokyo, and Tampa in April, with 417,000 tickets sold. Three shows in Tampa set April records for highest revenue and largest audience at a single venue. Billboard estimated average gross revenue per show in Tampa and El Paso reached $12.1 million (approximately Rp215 billion), a 64% increase compared to BTS’s previous world tour. After completing their mandatory military service, BTS members reunited as a full group in March with their fifth studio album, ‘Arirang’, marking their first comeback in three years and nine months. The ‘Arirang’ album achieved strong commercial success after its March release. Lead single ‘Swim’ gained global popularity, topping Billboard’s Global Excl US chart for the sixth time this year as of 23 May, and reached number two on Billboard’s Global 200 chart. The ‘Arirang’ album also ranked number two on Spotify’s Weekly Global Top Albums chart, while ‘Swim’ was fourth on the platform’s Weekly Global Top Songs chart.
