BTS Ticket War Tension: Between Joy for Success and Heartbreak for Failure
JAKARTA – General sale tickets for the ‘BTS World Tour Arirang in Jakarta’ concert, which opened on Thursday (11/6/2026) at 12.00 WIB, were declared sold out. This was based on information on the Tiket.com page, the official sales partner for BTS tickets in Jakarta.
‘All tickets are sold. Look forward to our next exciting events,’ read the statement on the Tiket.com page, according to Republika’s monitoring at 14.20 WIB.
Before finally being declared sold out, general sale tickets were already ‘fully booked’ within just a few minutes. The promoter for the BTS concert in Jakarta, iMe Indonesia, stated that the ‘fully booked’ status meant all tickets had been reserved by buyers, but not all had necessarily been paid in full. Tickets could become available again if a buyer failed to complete payment within a certain timeframe.
Based on Republika’s monitoring at 13.30 WIB, the status on the Tiket.com page was still ‘fully booked’ until it was finally declared sold out at around 14.20 WIB.
‘If tickets are declared sold out, it means all tickets have been officially sold and have been fully paid, with no tickets remaining,’ read a statement from iMe Indonesia posted in an Instagram Story.
Sella, a BTS fan known as an Army from Jakarta, was one of those who successfully secured a ticket for the first day of the concert. She recounted that the struggle to get the ticket was extraordinary, as she had been on standby thirty minutes before the general sale opened.
‘I basically prepared everything from half past eleven. Personal data, I also used two laptops and one mobile phone. Alhamdulillah I got one,’ said Sella when contacted.
Sella explained that she was placed in a virtual queue at number twelve-thousand-something. However, after waiting for a while, she finally managed to get in and bought whatever ticket was still available to book.
‘Honestly, I wanted VIP, but because it was already fully booked, I just clicked on whatever was left. I got CAT 1,’ she said.
