BTS Confirm December Concert at GBK, Ticket Battle Looms as Tickets Start at Rp1.8 Million
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The long-awaited news for ARMY Indonesia has finally arrived. The South Korean boy band BTS has officially announced the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’ concert in Jakarta on 26-27 December 2026. The concert will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK). The official announcement was made via promoter iMe Indonesia’s account, which included the seat plan and tour poster materials released on Friday (22 May 2026).
“Announcement of BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ in Jakarta! On 26 and 27 December 2026 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium,” iMe said in a post that has been liked by more than 200 thousand accounts.
The stage layout and seat map appear to be the same as BTS’s previous concerts, featuring a 360-degree stage. Ticket prices are divided into five categories. The cheapest tickets are Rp 1.8 million for Category 3 in the upper tribune area. Category 2 tickets are Rp 2.3 million, also in the upper tribune, and Category 1 at Rp 2.8 million in the lower tribune. For the area closest to the stage, Platinum Floor and Platinum Tribune categories are Rp 3.65 million. The VIP Soundcheck Package is Rp 4.5 million.
The VIP package includes concert tickets, access to the soundcheck session, VIP laminate and lanyard, a poster, a gift set, and a special merchandise booth entry pass. Prices exclude taxes and admin fees.
The concert stage is designed to run along the middle of the stadium, giving spectators from various angles a view of the main stage. However the promoter warns that the actual arrangement may change at any time to accommodate production needs.
In addition, differences in spectator height, stage structure, cameras, and other production equipment may mean some seats have restricted views. Ticket sales are split into two phases: ARMY Membership Presale and General Sale.
For ARMY Membership Presale registration, it opens from 22 May 2026 at 12:00 WIB to 27 May 2026 at 10:00 WIB via Weverse. The ARMY Membership Presale will take place on 9 June 2026 from 12:00 to 22:00 WIB. After that, general onsale begins on 11 June 2026 at 12:00 WIB via Tiket.com.
Fans wishing to participate in the presale must have an ARMY Membership (Global) on Weverse and register for the presale in advance. The membership number will become the presale ticket code. Each Tiket.com account can purchase up to four tickets per show. The Jakarta concert forms part of BTS’s ARIRANG world tour, marking the group’s full comeback of all seven members after a hiatus in group activities over the past few years.
The tour had previously captured global attention with its opening concert in Goyang, South Korea, attended by tens of thousands of fans over three days. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have also completed concerts in several Latin American and North American countries, and in June will perform in Busan to coincide with their 13th anniversary.
