BTS Concert at GBK vs Singapore: Which Is More Wallet-Friendly for ARMY?
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of BTS tickets for the ‘ARIRANG’ world tour in Southeast Asia has finally been revealed. While tickets in Jakarta start at Rp1.8 million, prices in Singapore can exceed Rp5 million for VIP category.
According to an official announcement from Live Nation Singapore, the BTS concert at the National Stadium will take place on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December 2026. The cheapest ticket goes on sale at S$148, or around Rp1.9 million (exchange rate Rp13,000 per Singapore dollar) for CAT 6.
Meanwhile CAT 5 is S$168, CAT 4 S$208, CAT 3 S$238, CAT 2 S$288, and CAT 1 S$328. For VIP, fans must fork out S$388, around Rp5 million, excluding tax and booking fee.
VIP package in Singapore includes a premium reserved seated ticket, access to the soundcheck party, VIP laminate and lanyard, a limited edition VIP gift, and a dedicated merchandise booth.
Compared to this, BTS tickets in Indonesia are relatively cheaper. The BTS concert at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium is on sale from Rp1.8 million for CAT 3 and Rp4.5 million for the Soundcheck VIP Package.
However there are notable differences in the number of ticket categories. Singapore offers six regular categories plus VIP, whereas Jakarta has only three regular categories, plus Platinum and VIP.
In addition, the number of concerts in Singapore is higher, four days, while Jakarta has two days. Live Nation Singapore even describes the series of concerts as BTS’s longest stop in Asia outside Korea and Japan.
In terms of VIP facilities, both countries offer similar benefits, such as access to a soundcheck and a dedicated merchandise lane. However, Jakarta’s VIP is still somewhat cheaper than Singapore’s.
For ticket sales, Singapore opens ARMY Membership Presale from 3 June 2026 and general onsale on 5 June 2026 via Ticketmaster. Jakarta opens ARMY Membership Presale on 9 June 2026 and general onsale on 11 June 2026 via Tiket.com.
The BTS Asia Southeast tour is expected to trigger intense ticket war competition, particularly in Indonesia which has a large ARMY base. Many fans are considering watching in Singapore as an alternative for fear of not securing a ticket in Jakarta.
In addition to more concert days, Singapore is also seen as offering fans a better chance to snag seats when tickets go on sale.
