TNT Logistics plans to transfer its expertise as an industry
leader in automotive logistics in Europe and the United States to
Asia and make Singapore its hub, a company spokesman said in a
published report on Monday. "Singapore is well suited to a hub
function because of its geographical location," The Straits Times
quoted Jeroen de Wilde, a TNT regional director, as saying. "We
are interested in developing it as a hub for the distribution of
finished cars and spare parts for the automotive industry in the
