BTN to Hold Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, Mark the Date
PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) has announced it will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on Friday, 4 September 2026, at 14:00 Western Indonesia Time. According to the company’s announcement, the EGMS will be conducted in a hybrid format, taking place physically at Menara BTN, Jalan Gajah Mada, Central Jakarta, and electronically via the Electronic General Meeting System (eASY.KSEI) platform. Shareholders entitled to attend the meeting are those recorded in the company’s shareholder register at the close of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Wednesday, 5 August 2026. The company is also providing an opportunity for shareholders to propose agenda items for the meeting. Such proposals must be received by the Board of Directors no later than Thursday, 30 July 2026. In accordance with the provisions, proposals may be submitted by holders of Series A Dwiwarna shares or by one or more shareholders representing at least 1/20 of the total shares with valid voting rights. Furthermore, proposals must be made in good faith, consider the company’s interests, require a decision at the General Meeting of Shareholders, be accompanied by reasons and supporting materials, and must not conflict with prevailing laws and regulations or the company’s articles of association. BTN stated that the official notice of the EGMS will be issued on 6 August 2026 via the eASY.KSEI website, the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, and the company’s official website.
