BTN Reshuffles Board of Directors, Here is the Reason

PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) has reshuffled its Board of Directors. Based on the results of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), five out of twelve individuals in director positions have been replaced.

“There have been changes to several directors at BTN, with five out of twelve changing,” said the President Director of Bank BTN, Nixon L.P. Napitupulu, when met at Menara BTN, Jakarta, on Friday (4/9/202/6).

According to him, the management changes at BTN are part of an effort towards regeneration and the rejuvenation of the management of the bank, which focuses on the housing sector.

“Today, we remain grateful to the shareholders for the changes and for the new directors who will be joining BTN. We hope that BTN will be much better in the future compared to what has occurred up to this day. That is our expectation,” he said.

In this reshuffle, the position of President Director remains held by Nixon L.P. Napitupulu, while Oni Febriarto Rahardjo also remains as Deputy President Director.

Changes occurred in four director positions. Gatot Prasetyo has been appointed as Director of Information Technology, replacing Tan Jacky Chen. Furthermore, Johanes Barus becomes the Director of Risk Management, replacing Setiyo Wibowo.

Additionally, the position of Director of Consumer Banking is now held by Evita Barliana, replacing Hirwandi Gafar. Meanwhile, Adityo Kusumo has been appointed as Director of Finance & Strategy, replacing Nofry Rony Poetra.

Changes also occurred in the position of Director of Human Capital & Compliance. This position is now held by Wiwik Wahyuni, replacing Eko Waluyo.

“If we look at their CVs, their experience is quite broad and extensive. Hopefully, this can help accelerate BTN’s ‘Volume Two’ transformation and speed up BTN’s achievement of ‘Beyond Mortgage’ to become a very strong bank in the world of consumer banking,” Nixon emphasised.
