JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, also known as BTN, recorded a net profit of IDR 230 billion in January 2026. This net profit represents a 578 per cent increase year-on-year compared to IDR 34 billion in January 2025. Furthermore, the bank, with the stock code BBTN, managed to reduce its interest expense by 14.53 per cent year-on-year. During this period, BTN successfully collected third-party funds (DPK) amounting to IDR 362.77 trillion, an increase of 11.52 per cent year-on-year. “This performance also contributed to the growth of BTN’s assets by 12.26 per cent year-on-year, reaching IDR 448.34 trillion as of January 2026,” he added. For information, in the previous year, BTN recorded a consolidated net profit of IDR 3.5 trillion, a growth of 16.4 per cent year-on-year. The company’s total consolidated assets reached IDR 527.8 trillion, an increase of 12.4 per cent year-on-year, supported by a 11.9 per cent year-on-year growth in credit distribution, reaching IDR 400.6 trillion.
