Jakarta (ANTARA) — The President Director of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN), Nixon L.P. Napitupulu, stated that the company recorded housing program credit (KPP) disbursement realisation reaching Rp2.97 trillion as of 18 May 2026.

That figure comprises KPP from the supply side amounting to Rp1.98 trillion, or around 33 per cent of this year’s target of Rp6 trillion, and KPP from the demand side amounting to Rp987 billion, or 24.67 per cent of the year’s quota of Rp4 trillion.

‘We at BTN recognise that providing decent housing for the public cannot be solved from a single side,’ Napitupulu said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He noted that KPP supply aims to strengthen developers’ capacity to build housing projects, while KPP demand ensures the public has access to affordable financing to own a home in support of the endeavour.

To accelerate financing disbursement while strengthening the link between developers and consumers, the bank has actively been holding mass signing/closing ceremonies for KPP across various regions.

On 3 May 2026 in Surabaya, East Java, the company facilitated the closing process for 245 KPP debtors with a total financing value of Rp305.26 billion.

Of that amount, the supply side comprised 66 developers valued at Rp171 billion, six contractors Rp30 billion, and 10 building supply stores Rp50 billion. Meanwhile, on the demand side, 163 debtors were recorded with financing valued at Rp53 billion.

Nixon revealed that nationally, the company recorded KPP supply disbursement of Rp1.98 trillion supported by 178 debtors at UMKM scale or in regional areas. West Java region became one of the largest contributors to the disbursement, followed by the Sulawesi-Maluku-Papua (Sulampua) region.

Meanwhile, KPP demand disbursement reached 781 debtors nationwide with a financing value of Rp987 billion. The Jawa-Bali-Nusa Tenggara (Jabanusa) region recorded the largest disbursement.

‘BTN will continue to align projects supported through KPP supply so that they connect directly with our KPP demand consumer base. With this integration, the housing financing disbursement process can run more effectively and sustainably,’ Napitupulu said.
