Jakarta — PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has prepared IDR 23.18 trillion in cash to ensure sufficient funding for the public and customers during the Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday period.
The cash reserves will be made available from 13 March to 25 March 2026, coinciding with increased economic activity and population mobility ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

Of the total cash reserves, BTN will allocate approximately IDR 14.55 trillion, or 63 per cent, to cash requirements across BTN outlets distributed throughout various regions of Indonesia.
Meanwhile, approximately IDR 8.63 trillion, or 37 per cent, of the total funds will be used to replenish ATM and CRM machines operated by BTN across various regions.
BTN is also significantly increasing liquidity availability at branch offices beyond normal conditions to anticipate increased cash demand during the Eid al-Fitr period.
In addition to ensuring cash availability, BTN continues to encourage customers to utilise various digital transaction services through the Bale by BTN super app to facilitate easier, faster, and more secure financial transactions at any time and location.
“BTN ensures all banking service infrastructure, including branch networks, ATMs, and digital channels, remain optimally operational to support customer transaction convenience during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period,” said Ramon.
