PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN), together with its subsidiary PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN), posted a consolidated net profit of Rp2.51 trillion as of July 2026.

The figure increased 39.79% year-on-year (yoy) compared with Rp1.80 trillion in the same period the previous year.

The profit growth was supported by stronger intermediation performance and an improvement in net interest income. Based on BTN’s consolidated monthly financial report, net interest income (NII) reached Rp9.70 trillion up to July 2026, growing 5.23% yoy.

At the same time, interest expense fell 12.08% yoy to Rp9.45 trillion, compared with Rp10.75 trillion in July 2025. The improvement also helped lift BTN’s consolidated operating profit to Rp3.24 trillion, up 43.12% yoy from Rp2.26 trillion in the same period the previous year.

Meanwhile, on the intermediation side, total consolidated loans and financing reached Rp421.66 trillion as of July 2026, an increase of 11.88% yoy.

In the same period, BTN’s consolidated third-party funds (DPK) reached Rp455.27 trillion, up 13.58% yoy. The DPK consisted of current accounts of Rp167.85 trillion, savings of Rp45.95 trillion, and deposits of Rp241.47 trillion.

President Director of BTN Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said the sustainable performance growth was the result of a transformation that the company has consistently built over more than a decade.

The transformation has taken BTN from strengthening its position as a mortgage-focused bank to a beyond mortgage phase. This was achieved by building an increasingly integrated financial services ecosystem for Indonesian families.

According to Nixon, the strengthening of the business fundamentals also provides room for BTN to expand the benefits it delivers to the public. For BTN, business growth and social contribution are complementary parts of creating sustainable growth.

“For BTN, growth is not only about how we strengthen the business, but also about how BTN’s presence can provide broader benefits for society and the environment. The stronger BTN grows, the greater the benefits we want to deliver to the public, especially in the housing ecosystem that is BTN’s DNA,” Nixon said in a written statement, quoted on Wednesday (26/8/2026).
