BTN Posts Rp 2.4 Trillion Profit in First Half of 2026, Up 40.8%

PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk posted a consolidated net profit of Rp 2.4 trillion throughout the first half of this year, a 40.8% year-on-year (yoy) increase as of the first semester of 2026. The profit was supported by lending and financing which rose 11.2% yoy as of the end of June 2026 to Rp 418.11 trillion. The credit growth was accompanied by a gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 3%, an improvement from 3.3% in June 2025. Over the same period, the loan at risk (LAR) ratio improved from 20.2% in June 2025 to 18.6% in June 2026. BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu stated that the positive performance demonstrates that BTN’s transformation strategy, which is aligned with the transformation direction of Danantara Indonesia, is progressing according to target. According to Nixon, BTN is not only continuing to strengthen its position as the leader in national housing finance but is also building an integrated financial services ecosystem to support priority government programmes, including the 3 Million Homes Programme, while expanding access to financial services for the public. ‘This achievement is the result of a decade of consistent transformation. We are optimistic that until the end of the year, BTN’s performance will remain on track to continue the positive record from the first half of this year,’ Nixon said during a press conference on the performance report as of 30 June 2026 in Jakarta, Thursday (16/7).
