Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) and Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional (RSPON) Prof. Dr. Mahar Mardjono are integrating financial and health services to provide a more holistic experience for customers, particularly priority groups.

BTN’s Director of Network and Retail Funding, Rully Setiawan, stated that the collaboration is part of efforts to expand the company’s role beyond housing finance (beyond mortgage) to become Indonesia’s largest consumer bank.

“We aim to deliver more personal and exclusive added value for BTN customers, not only banking services but also access to health services, convenience, and various special programmes and promotions that enhance customer comfort and quality of life,” he said in Jakarta on Monday.

Rully noted that the success of the beyond mortgage business strategy shift is reflected in the company’s funding performance, particularly in the wealth management segment.

As of the first quarter of 2026, BTN’s CASA (current account saving account/low-cost funds) in Wealth Management reached Rp12.57 trillion, up from Rp10.74 trillion in the same period the previous year (year-on-year).

He explained that this growth demonstrates BTN’s strategic shift from mere fund mobilisation to sustainable customer relationship management, while strengthening the funding structure based on low-cost funds.

“We believe customer loyalty is not built solely on products but on the real experiences and benefits they feel in their daily lives,” Rully said.

On the same occasion, RSPON’s President Director, Adin Nulkhasanah, expressed that the partnership serves as a momentum to raise public awareness of the importance of brain health.

“RSPON was established to ensure that neurological services in Indonesia can develop and match those in other countries around the world. We want the public to increasingly understand that maintaining brain health is an important part of quality of life,” she said.

She stated that her side is committed to providing the best services with strict medical standards.

“We ensure that every service is provided in accordance with medical indications and clinical pathways, thus prioritising aspects of safety and service quality for patients,” she added.

Through this partnership, BTN Prioritas offers a 5% discount for holders of BTN Prioritas Visa Platinum Debit Cards and BTN Private Visa Infinite from 20 April 2026 to 20 April 2027 for all health services at RSPON, excluding medical check-ups.

The state-owned bank also introduced the BTN Prioritas MedEscape: Singapore Edition programme, which provides opportunities for customers to attend the International Conference on Neuroscience and Neurophilosophy (ICNNP2) along with a three-day, two-night travel experience in Singapore.

The programme is targeted at new customers, including medical personnel and RSPON employees, as well as participants in the BTN Experience event, with a scheme of placing funds of Rp5 billion for three months to obtain travel facilities for two people.
