BTN Partners with RSPON to Expand Beyond Mortgage
PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, or BTN, is strengthening its beyond mortgage strategy by partnering with Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono National Brain Centre Hospital (RSPON) as part of developing more holistic services for customers, particularly in the priority segment.
This collaboration was officialised at the BTN Experience: Wealth x Wellness BTN Prioritas x RSPON event, which integrates financial and health services as part of enhancing BTN’s value proposition to customers.
BTN’s Director of Network and Retail Funding, Rully Setiawan, emphasised that this step is part of the company’s strategic direction in expanding its role in the consumer segment. “We are undergoing a transformation. Beyond mortgage, we aspire to become the biggest consumer bank in Indonesia,” said Rully.
He added that BTN’s service enhancements are no longer focused solely on products, but on a more comprehensive customer experience.
“We aim to deliver more personal and exclusive added value for BTN customers, not just banking services, but also access to health services, convenience, and various special programmes and promotions that enhance customer comfort and quality of life,” he continued.
This strengthening of strategy is already reflected in BTN’s funding performance, particularly in the wealth management segment. As of the first quarter of 2026, BTN’s CASA Wealth Management reached Rp12.57 trillion, an increase from Rp10.74 trillion in the same period the previous year.
This growth demonstrates BTN’s strategic shift from mere fund mobilisation to deeper and more sustainable customer relationship management, while strengthening the funding structure based on low-cost funds.
“We believe customer loyalty is not built solely from products, but from the experiences and tangible benefits they feel in their daily lives,” said Rully.
RSPON’s President Director, Adin Nulkhasanah, stated that this partnership is a momentum to raise public awareness about the importance of brain health.
“RSPON was established to ensure that neurology services in Indonesia can develop and match those in other countries around the world. We want the public to increasingly understand that maintaining brain health is an important part of quality of life,” she said.
She emphasised that RSPON is committed to providing services based on strict medical standards. “We ensure every service is provided in accordance with medical indications and clinical pathways, thus prioritising aspects of safety and service quality for patients,” she added.
Through this partnership, BTN Prioritas offers various benefits to customers, including a 5 percent discount on health services at RSPON for holders of the BTN Prioritas Visa Platinum Debit Card and BTN Private Visa Infinite. This programme is valid from 20 April 2026 to 20 April 2027 for all health services, except medical check-ups.
At the same time, BTN also introduced the BTN Prioritas MedEscape: Singapore Edition programme, which provides priority customers the opportunity to attend the International Conference on Neuroscience and Neurophilosophy (ICNNP2) along with a three-day, two-night travel experience in Singapore.
This programme is targeted at new customers, including medical personnel and RSPON employees, as well as participants in the BTN Experience event, with a scheme of placing funds of Rp5 billion for three months to obtain travel facilities for two people.
Through this collaboration, BTN reinforces its transformation steps as a bank that not only plays a role in housing financing, but also serves as a financial partner supporting customers’ overall quality of life.
