Bekasi, West Java (ANTARA) - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has launched the BTN Loan Factory to speed up the credit application process, particularly for home ownership loans (KPR), targeting completion within three days in the coming years. For this year, the state-owned bank aims to approve every financing application within five days. Meanwhile, the current average time required to complete the credit application process at BTN is six days, shorter than the previous nine days. “We want to serve customers better. Often there are complaints that KPR applications at one point (location) take more than a month. Because the process is not yet centralised, sometimes we don’t know (about such issues),” said BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu in Bekasi, West Java, on Monday. He explained that the company receives 220,000 to 250,000 KPR applications annually, necessitating an integrated and standardised system transformation to manage them efficiently. He stated that this transformation is also needed to ensure business sustainability to drive growth, positioning the banking issuer with the code BBTN as a globally competitive large company. The company is developing the BTN Loan Factory to increase bookings, maintain service level agreements (SLA), and improve credit quality or the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio. In addition, the facility is expected to enhance the company’s operational efficiency, particularly in human resources (HR). “(We also want operations) to be more efficient, with personnel centralised and other HR moved to sales or other units. Most importantly, customers have certainty in time. That’s what we want to create (through BTN Loan Factory),” said Nixon. The BTN Loan Factory is located in the BTN Bekasi Branch Office complex, West Java, and has been operational since 6 April.
