BTN Jakarta International Marathon 2026 to be Held on 13-14 June, Traffic Management Measures to be Implemented
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Indonesia Muda Road Runner (IMRR) as the organizers will again hold the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (BTN JAKIM) 2026 on 13–14 June 2026.
BTN JAKIM 2026 will be held for two days with different race categories each day. On Saturday, 13 June 2026, the BSN 5K and EJ Sport 10K categories will take place, while on Sunday, 14 June 2026, the Le Minerale Half Marathon and BTN Marathon will be held.
“In line with the implementation of this event, traffic management and adjustments will be carried out on a number of road sections that are part of the race route to support the smoothness, security, and comfort of all participants and the public,” said Corporate Secretary of BTN Ramon Armando in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday.
Ramon said that the organization of BTN JAKIM 2026 again prioritizes the 4S principles, namely Sterile, Secure, Safety, and Smooth to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all participants and the public during the event.
“We also thank you for the support and cooperation of the people of Jakarta and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government who have contributed to the success of BTN JAKIM as an international marathon event that is Indonesia’s pride,” said Ramon.
Ramon added that BTN JAKIM is not only an international sporting event, but also part of a joint effort to make Jakarta a global city through sports tourism and the organization of world-class events.
“We hope for the support and cooperation of all the people of Jakarta so that BTN JAKIM 2026 can run smoothly, safely and successfully so as to further strengthen Jakarta’s position as a global sports destination,” said Ramon.
Based on coordination with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Department and the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate, traffic management and traffic flow engineering will be carried out on a number of road sections that intersect with the BTN JAKIM 2026 route.
