Jakarta – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) recorded that as of 18 May 2026, the booked disbursement of the National Housing Programme (KPP) reached around Rp2.97 trillion, consisting of KPP Supply at Rp1.98 trillion and KPP Demand at Rp987 billion. In terms of annual targets, the realisations represent about 33 percent of the 2026 KPP Supply quota of Rp6 trillion and 25 percent of the 2026 KPP Demand quota of Rp4 trillion. BTN President Director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said the balance between supply and demand is an important factor in sustaining the national housing ecosystem. This step forms part of BTN’s Beyond Mortgage transformation strategy to deliver an integrated housing-financing ecosystem from upstream to downstream. ‘We at BTN recognise that providing decent housing for the public cannot be solved by one side alone. KPP Supply helps strengthen developers’ capacity to build housing projects, while KPP Demand ensures communities have access to affordable financing to own homes, supporting businesses. By synergising these two aspects, BTN aims to ensure the national housing ecosystem grows more healthily, sustainably, and generates broad economic impact,’ Nixon said in a written statement on Thursday, 21 May 2026. As part of accelerating KPP disbursement, BTN is also actively holding mass closing ceremonies for KPP in various regions. On 3 May 2026 in Surabaya, BTN facilitated the closing for 245 KPP debtors with total financing of Rp305.26 billion. Of this amount, supply comprised 66 developers worth Rp171 billion, six contractors Rp30 billion, and 10 hardware stores Rp50 billion. Meanwhile, on the demand side, 163 debtors were recorded with financing of Rp53 billion. Subsequently, on 7 May 2026 in Lampung, BTN again held a mass signing of KPP agreements with KPP Supply financing of Rp162.6 billion for 100 debtors, and KPP Demand of Rp4.6 billion. This activity forms part of BTN’s efforts to accelerate financing absorption while strengthening the link between developers and consumers in the region.
