BTN housing credit nearly reaches Rp3 trillion through mid-May 2026, with West Java among the regions recording the largest financing disbursement, notably to support housing development by developers. BTN recorded disbursement under the Housing Program Credit (KPP) reaching Rp2.97 trillion as of 18 May 2026. The figure comprises Rp1.98 trillion for KPP Supply and Rp987 billion for KPP Demand. BTN Chief Executive Officer Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said that housing needs must be balanced with developers’ project readiness so that financing distribution runs effectively. ‘KPP Supply is designed to strengthen developers’ capacity to build housing projects, while KPP Demand ensures the public has access to affordable financing to own a home,’ he said in a written statement on Thursday, 21 May 2026. BTN notes that KPP Supply disbursement has reached about 33 percent of this year’s target of Rp6 trillion. Meanwhile, KPP Demand has absorbed about 25 percent of the Rp4 trillion quota. Nationwide, West Java is among the largest contributors to KPP Supply disbursement. The region is still viewed as having high needs for new housing development, particularly in peri-urban areas.
