BTN Director Hermita Receives Award as Inspirational Leader

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Director of Commercial Banking at PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN), Hermita, has received an award as an inspirational banking leader at the CNN Indonesia Leading Women Awards 2026. This award in the category of “Outstanding Leader in Commercial Banking Growth and Strategy” was given for Hermita’s contributions in strengthening commercial business growth and expanding credit in the corporate and medium sectors at BTN. Chair of the CT Arsa Foundation, Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, in a statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday, said that this awards event carries a strong message about the importance of women’s leadership in the nation’s progress. “Through the CNN Indonesia Leading Women Awards, we want to send a strong message that the success of this nation is inseparable from the leadership of resilient women,” said Anita. Under Hermita’s leadership, BTN’s commercial banking line continues to strengthen the quality of its financing portfolio while increasing market penetration. Hermita is also recognised for consistently driving healthy and sustainable business growth. The award received by Hermita further affirms the strategic role of women in the national banking industry. The award was presented by Trans TV President Director Atiek Nur Wahyuni at the Auditorium of Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/5) evening. The CNN Indonesia Leading Women Awards 2026 honoured more than 40 inspirational women from various fields. The award serves as appreciation for women’s contributions to nation-building. Carrying the theme “Empowered Women, Empowering the Nation,” the award highlights the role of women as an important pillar of civilisation. Women are seen not only as educators of the nation’s generation but also as drivers of the economy, social culture, and agents of change in various sectors.
