BTN Committed to Supporting President Prabowo's Three Million Houses Programme
PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) is committed to participating in the completion of the Three Million Houses Programme launched by President Prabowo Subianto.
BTN’s Director of Commercial Banking, Hermita, stated that the programme targets two types of mortgage groups: the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) and the Housing Programme Credit (KPP).
“Previously, the focus was solely on FLPP, but now KPP is also available,” Hermita said in Palau, Central Sulawesi, on Sunday.
FLPP is a government housing finance facility for low-income communities (MBR), where government interest subsidies make mortgage instalments cheaper and keep them stable until the loan is fully repaid.
Meanwhile, KPP is a credit scheme with special interest rates targeting small-scale communities, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The programme helps the public access affordable capital or financing to allow businesses to grow alongside the provision of decent housing.
“While FLPP is only for purchasing houses, KPP can be used to build houses or renovate existing ones, particularly for those running online businesses,” she explained.
Of the 160,000 units allocated by the government under the FLPP quota, 78,000 units have been realised as of September 2026.
According to her, the KPP is supported by a complete ecosystem ranging from construction to sales. Known as the KPP Housing Supply side, this programme provides working capital or investment financing from the government through distributing banks like BTN to support entrepreneurs within the housing ecosystem.
“This programme targets recipients including housing developers, construction service providers or contractors, and even traders or building material suppliers,” she clarified.
Furthermore, BTN has implemented the FLPP programme for a 40-year term. The advantage of this extended period is that it provides very low instalments and fixed interest rates until the credit process is completed.
“As a result, more members of the public can enjoy the government subsidies,” she added.
