BTN Chief Reveals Dividend Outlook, Here is the Amount
PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) has revealed that its dividend payout target for the 2026 financial year is approximately 20%.
“Thank you. Looking at our Business Plan (RBB), our dividend payout target is indeed around 20%. That is what is stated in BTN’s RBB,” said BTN President Director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu during a virtual Public Expose on Thursday (10/09/2026).
However, the determination of the dividend distribution will depend on the shareholders, as decided through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS).
“Once again, it depends on the shareholders, especially during the AGM,” he added.
Nixon also stated that, currently, the bank, which focuses on mortgage financing, is not planning to distribute any interim dividends.
“We have no plans for a dividend payout, and if we look back over the last five years, BTN has never paid an interim dividend, and as of today, we have no plans for an interim dividend,” he explained.
For information, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp2.4 trillion during the first half of this year, representing a 40.8% increase year-on-year (yoy) as of the end of the first semester of 2026.
This profit was supported by an 11.2% yoy increase in credit and financing distribution, reaching Rp418.11 trillion by the end of June 2026. This credit growth was accompanied by a gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 3%, an improvement from the 3.3% position in June 2025. During the same period, the loan at risk (LAR) ratio decreased from 20.2% in June 2025 to 18.6% in June 2026.
