BTN and Journalists Distribute 600 Food Packages Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026

Ramadan is a special time for strengthening faith, multiplying good deeds, and strengthening relationships with others. Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN), together with the Forum Wartawan BTN (FWB), distributed around 600 food aid packages to communities in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/Eid 2026. The social activity titled “BTN and Insan Pers Berbagi” serves as a form of social concern while helping to ease the needs of the community in welcoming Eid 2026. BTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando stated that the company fully supports the activity initiated by the Forum Wartawan BTN. Considering that the press is a strategic partner of BTN in conveying various company programmes and activities to the public. “May this activity bring blessings and provide real benefits to those in need,” said Ramon in his statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. During this year’s Ramadan, BTN also held various other social activities. These include the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran combined with breaking the fast together in the company environment, Ramadan Safari, assistance for orphans and the underprivileged at all BTN branches across Indonesia, and the Mudik Bareng BUMN 2026 programme. “Ramadan is a special time for strengthening faith, multiplying good deeds, and strengthening relationships with others,” said Ramon. He emphasised that with strong solidarity, BTN is optimistic about facing various challenges, while continuing to strive to provide contributions and be present in the midst of society. “I hope that the togetherness in this Ramadan month will further strengthen relationships, build mutual trust, and foster the spirit to continue working with heart,” he said. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Food Sharing Activity Implementer of the Forum Wartawan BTN, Roni Mawardi, explained that around 600 food aid packages were distributed to communities in the Jabodetabek area. The assistance was given to residents around the BTN office in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, and Harmoni, Central Jakarta. In addition, food aid packages were also distributed to people with disabilities, the underprivileged, the poor, orphans, the elderly, and informal workers. “We thank BTN for supporting the Insan Pers Berbagi activity.
