Susilo pledges firm action against Maluku troublemakers: The
security forces will now take stern action against those who once
again take up arms to attack their rivals in Maluku following the
recent peace accord, chief security minister Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono said on Wednesday evening. Susilo, who arrived in Ambon
along with other ministers and National Police chief Gen. Da'i
Bachtiar on Wednesday, also donated Rp 3 billion in compensation
to the families of victims killed in the three years of sectarian
conflict. Each of those involved will receive Rp 2 million. -- JP
