BSPD 2026 Brings Together Startups and Investors
A total of 21 startups met with 15 investors and venture capital firms during Bandung Startup Pitching Day (BSPD) 2026. The event was held to open opportunities for collaboration, funding, and business development for Indonesian startups.
The activity, which took place at the Nemangkawi Auditorium of SBM ITB on Wednesday (24/6/2026), was organised by The Greater Hub SBM ITB together with the Directorate of Science and Technology Areas (DKST) ITB, Startup Bandung, Innovation Factory, Geek Hunter, and Artha Enterprise. BSPD 2026 carried the theme “Impactful Innovation and Beyond”.
Investors in attendance included Angin Foundation, BNI Ventures, Mandiri Capital Indonesia, Rahmania Islamic Social Ventures, Spill Ventures, Telkomsel Ventures, MDI Ventures, Genesia Ventures, and DSX Ventures.
The Greater Hub ITB Coordinator Dina Dellyana said BSPD provides a space for startups to meet directly with investors while also gaining input on developing their businesses. “We hope this event can be an opportunity for startups to connect directly with investors. Every piece of feedback given is very valuable, not only during the pitching session but also after the event concludes,” Dina said.
Deputy Director for Area Business Development DKST ITB Melia Famiola assessed that universities have an important role in encouraging innovation so that it can be applied concretely and provide economic and social benefits. “Universities need to be the driving force of innovation by translating research results into real solutions, bringing them to society and the market, expanding their impact, and creating sustainable economic and social value,” Melia stated.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of SBM ITB Eko Agus Prasetio said the entrepreneurial spirit remains important amidst uncertain global economic conditions. “In the midst of conditions full of volatility and uncertainty like today, the entrepreneurial spirit continues to grow because of the courage to see opportunities and face challenges,” Eko said.
A total of 21 startups participated in the event across various business fields, ranging from education, artificial intelligence, agritech, energy, digital technology, to human resource development.
After going through the pitching and judging process, KILATSOON won The Most Innovative Startup award. TOFLY was selected as The Best Pitch, WearaTech received The Most Impactful Startup award, while Batari Energy was named The Most Marketable Startup.
In the Artha Speed Dating session, Flame Street Indonesia took the winner’s position. Tanabur placed as first runner-up, while Natance Corporation was second runner-up.
The organisers assessed that BSPD 2026 demonstrated the importance of collaboration between startups, investors, academics, and industry players in building a robust national innovation ecosystem. Through this forum, various startups had the opportunity to expand their networks while opening up prospects for future cooperation and investment.
