BSN Records Profit of Rp83 Billion, Assets Surge 2,000% to Reach Rp73 Trillion
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) recorded a net profit growth of more than 313.85% year-on-year (yoy) throughout 2025.
Based on the latest financial report, BSN’s net profit at the end of 2025 was recorded at Rp83.64 billion. This figure rose from the previous year’s Rp20.21 billion.
BSN President Director Alex Sofjan Noor stated that this surge is a direct impact of the corporate action involving the separation of the sharia business unit (spin-off) from PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk in December 2025. Through this process, BSN received the transfer of assets and liabilities from Bank Victoria Syariah as well as the Sharia Business Unit of BTN.
“We are determined to become part of a modern and digital-minded sharia bank. All services will be connected digitally to facilitate public access anytime and anywhere,” said Alex in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (6/5/2026).
On the balance sheet side, BSN’s total assets as of 31 December 2025 closed at Rp73.07 trillion, an increase of 2,104.5% compared to the 2024 position of Rp3.31 trillion.
Meanwhile, the mobilisation of Third-Party Funds (DPK) also surged sharply to Rp58.73 trillion, growing 4,206.5% from the 2024 position of Rp1.36 trillion.
In terms of intermediation function, BSN recorded financing disbursements of Rp54.87 trillion in 2025. This figure grew 4,083.8% compared to the previous year’s realisation of Rp1.31 trillion.
BSN’s performance was also supported by strengthened income based on receivables and profit-sharing. Income from fund management as Mudharib was recorded at Rp2.73 trillion, up 1,112.3% from 2024’s Rp224.8 billion.
As of 31 December 2025, BSN had 37 branch offices, 82 sub-branch offices, 3 priority outlets, and 546 sharia service offices (KLS) throughout Indonesia, supported by a fully integrated (inline) ATM network with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk as the parent company.
