BSN Optimises Branch Office Services During Eid Holiday
JAKARTA — PT Bank Syariah Nasional (BSN) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing banking services to the public during the Eid holiday period.
This measure has been taken to anticipate increased demand for banking services as people travel to their hometowns for mudik (homecoming) celebrations.
BSN Chief Executive Officer Alex Sofjan Noor stated that the bank and all its staff are committed to ensuring that services to customers continue to be provided, albeit with limited operations.
“We are doing this to ensure that services to customers remain available even during the extended holiday season,” Alex said in a press statement on Monday (16/3/2026).
According to Alex, the holiday period coinciding with Eid and Nyepi this year overlaps with a critical time for many members of the public who need to meet their housing financing payment obligations with BSN.
Therefore, the opening of service offices during the extended holiday is intended to prevent potential delays in payment of these obligations.
BSN has also provided information regarding the list of branch offices that will continue to operate during the Eid holiday through its official website. A total of 37 BSN branch offices will remain open during this period.
However, there is an exception for the BSN Mataram branch office, which will not operate on 18 and 19 March 2026 due to Nyepi Day. Meanwhile, BSN service offices in the Jakarta region will operate with limited hours and on a rotating basis, with the exception of the BSN Tomang branch.
Furthermore, all branch offices will be closed on 21 and 22 March 2026, which coincides with Eid Al-Fitr 1447 AH.
“Make good use of Bale Syariah by BSN, and people will have their own bank to carry out transactions according to their needs. Access BSN mobile banking and enjoy the ease of conducting transactions,” Alex said.
He added that Bale Syariah can also be utilised for conducting transactions through the BTN service network without incurring any fees.
“This is a convenience that represents one of the advantages of Bale Syariah by BSN,” he stated.
