Jakarta, VIVA – PT Bank Syariah Nasional (Bank BSN) has posted significant financial performance throughout the 2025 fiscal year. This is reflected in the growth of net profit exceeding 300% year-on-year (yoy). The surge in performance is a direct impact of the corporate action involving the spin-off of the sharia business unit of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk in December 2025. Through this process, Bank BSN received the transfer of assets and liabilities from Bank Victoria Syariah and the Sharia Business Unit of BTN. According to the company’s financial report, Bank BSN’s net profit at the end of 2025 was recorded at Rp83.64 billion, a sharp increase of 313.85% compared to the 2024 profit of Rp20.21 billion. This achievement reflects extraordinary growth, considering the track record of BTN’s Sharia Business Unit in previous years, which consistently recorded growth above the industry average and its parent company. Bank BSN’s President Director, Alex Sofjan Noor, stated that this result is the fruit of the hard work of all employees and the full support from stakeholders. “This achievement is a blessing and proof of stakeholder trust. Support from BTN as the parent company serves as the driving force for Bank BSN to deliver the best performance,” said Alex in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, 6 May 2026. A fantastic leap is also evident on the balance sheet side. Bank BSN’s total assets as of 31 December 2025 closed at Rp73.07 trillion, an increase of 2,104.5% compared to the 2024 position of Rp3.31 trillion. This asset achievement automatically positions Bank BSN as the second-largest sharia bank in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the performance leap in mobilising third-party funds (DPK) for Bank BSN in 2025 was also very high. Third-party fund mobilisation (DPK) also surged sharply to Rp58.73 trillion, growing 4,206.5% from the 2024 position of Rp1.36 trillion. On the intermediation function side, Bank BSN recorded financing disbursements of Rp54.87 trillion in 2025. This figure grew 4,083.8% compared to the previous year’s realisation of Rp1.31 trillion. Bank BSN’s positive performance was also driven by strengthened income based on receivables and profit-sharing. Income from fund management as Mudharib was recorded at Rp2.73 trillion, up 1,112.3% compared to 2024’s Rp224.8 billion.
