BSI's 38 Years of Consistent Excellence in Developing Indonesia's Human Capital
Bekasi - The Bina Sarana Informatika Foundation (BSI) celebrated its 38th anniversary on 3 March 2026. Established on 3 March 1988, BSI has continued to position itself as an educational institution consistently contributing to shaping an excellent and competitive generation for Indonesia. The nearly four-decade journey has not been without challenges. Various dynamics and twists in the journey have been faced, ranging from technological developments, changes in education regulation, to industry demands that are increasingly adaptive. However, with a spirit of innovation and a commitment to building the nation, BSI has continued to grow and transform. The 38th Dies Natalis serves as a reflection on achievements and a stepping stone to go further. Over 38 years, BSI has produced thousands of graduates who have taken on roles in strategic sectors at national and international levels. The Foundation’s Supervisor, Herman Pratikto Harsoyo, expressed gratitude for the long journey undergone by BSI. He stated that turning 38 is evidence of consistency and dedication of the entire academic community in building a quality education. “We are grateful that Bina Sarana Informatika has been able to endure, grow, and continue to contribute for 38 years. This is not an easy journey, but thanks to hard work, commitment, and the spirit of togetherness, BSI can continue to be present to enlighten the lives of the nation,” he said during the 38th Dies Natalis celebration on Tuesday (3/3/2026). He added that the achievements attained today form the foundation to move more progressively in the future. “The achievements today are the result of a long struggle. However, we do not want to rest on our laurels. We hope BSI will become more widely known by the public as an educational institution that makes a real contribution and builds Indonesia,” he asserted. According to Herman, future challenges will become more complex, particularly in facing the digitalisation era and industrial transformation. Therefore, BSI will continue to strengthen the quality of education, collaborate with the business and industrial world, and innovate curricula to stay relevant to the needs of the times. This 38-year anniversary celebration embodies BSI’s commitment to continue adapting, innovating, and expanding its contribution in education. With the fighting spirit ingrained since 1988, Bina Sarana Informatika is optimistic it can become an important part in realising Indonesia’s Golden Generation.
