BSI University Pontianak Supports Putera Puteri Kalbar 2026
Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) University, Pontianak Campus, known as a Creative Digital Campus, has provided support for the Grand Final of Putera Puteri Kalbar 2026 through educational scholarships for the winners. The Grand Final of Putera Puteral Kalbar 2026 took place at the Ballroom of Hotel Transera Pontianak on Sunday (30/08/2026).
This support serves as a form of UBSI’s commitment to the youth of West Kalimantan who possess achievements and the potential for continuous growth. In the competition, Kanaya Gadis Miracle from Pontianak successfully secured the title of Putri Kalbar 2026, while Roy Cristian Rangga from Sanggau was crowned Putera Kalbar 2026.
As part of its support for the event, UBSI Pontianak Campus is providing educational scholarships to the winners. These scholarships are expected to provide an opportunity for high-achieving young individuals to pursue further education while simultaneously developing their existing skills.
The Head of Marcom at UBSI Pontianak Campus, Dedi Saputra, stated that the provision of scholarships is a way for UBSI to ensure that the achievements of the younger generation can lead to further educational opportunities.
“UBSI is providing support through educational scholarships for the winners of Putera Puteri Kalbar 2026. We hope these scholarships can serve as an opportunity for them to continue their education and develop their potential,” Dedi said in a press release on Monday (31/08).
According to Dedi, the achievements demonstrated by the participants of Putera Puteri Kalbar 2026 are essential capital for further development. Therefore, educational opportunities must be provided so that the younger generation does not only possess non-academic achievements but also gains the educational foundation necessary for the future.
“We see that the participants possess extraordinary potential. They are required not only to perform but also to demonstrate communication skills, insight, confidence, and various other potentials. This certainly serves as good capital to be further developed through education,” he explained.
Dedi added that UBSI wishes to provide space for high-achieving youth to obtain educational opportunities that can support their future journeys.
“The hope is that these scholarships are not merely prizes, but also the next step for the winners to continue learning and enhancing their abilities. We hope the achievements attained today can serve as a beginning to reach subsequent achievements,” he said.
For UBSI Pontianak Campus, support through educational scholarships is part of an effort to provide opportunities for the younger generation to continuously increase their self-capacity. Education is considered to play a vital role in shaping a generation capable of facing the developments of the workforce and various future challenges.
Through this support, UBSI Pontianak Campus hopes that the Putera and Putri Kalbar 2026 will not stop at achieving titles and crowns, but can utilise the available opportunities to continue learning, growing, and providing positive contributions to West Kalimantan.
