BSI Prepares 45 Trillion Rupiah in Cash During Eid Holiday 2026
JAKARTA — PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI) has prepared 45 trillion rupiah in cash to anticipate the surge in public transaction needs during the Ramadan period and Eid holiday 2026.
BSI Chief Executive Officer Anggoro Eko Cahyo stated that the company has allocated 45 trillion rupiah to meet transaction requirements throughout Ramadan and the Eid holiday, which will be placed at automated teller machines (ATMs) and operational branch cashiers.
During 14-24 March 2026, BSI will provide limited operational services at 162 branch offices across various regions projected to have direct transaction needs. The list of limited service outlets can be accessed through the company’s website www.bankbsi.co.id.
“However, we continue to encourage customers to utilise our digital services through the BYOND super-app, which provides comprehensive transaction features, including cardless cash withdrawals at BSI ATMs and through retail networks such as Indomaret and Alfamart,” said Anggoro in a press statement on Sunday (15 March 2026).
Furthermore, Anggoro assured that BSI would optimise all service networks, both digital and physical branches distributed throughout Indonesia and overseas.
“Ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 1447 Hijri, BSI ensures that all service channels are ready to serve customer needs whenever and wherever,” he explained.
“We are prepared to serve customer needs during the Eid holiday period as part of BSI’s commitment to serve wholeheartedly. Amid the trend of rising transactions, we also advise the public to remain vigilant against various fraud schemes using the bank’s name and to verify information through official Bank Syariah Indonesia channels,” Anggoro concluded.
