BSI prepares 162 branches for limited operations during Eid holiday
Jakarta (ANTARA) — PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI) is preparing limited operational services across 162 branch offices in various regions expected to experience high transaction volumes during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period from 14-24 March 2026.
BSI Chief Executive Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo, in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday, explained that these outlets would be able to provide a range of transactions including account opening, ATM card blocking, cash deposits and withdrawals, and transfers between BSI accounts.
A comprehensive list of limited-service outlets is available on www.bankbsi.co.id.
Despite the provision of limited operational services, Anggoro encouraged customers to utilise digital services through the BYOND super-app, which offers comprehensive transaction features, including cardless cash withdrawal at BSI ATMs and throughout retail networks.
He assured that the bank would optimise all available service channels, both digital and physical networks operating domestically and internationally.
“As we approach the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri holiday, BSI ensures all service channels are ready to serve customer needs whenever and wherever required,” Anggoro stated.
The bank is optimising digital services through the BYOND super-app, BSI Call 14040, more than 6,000 ATM and CRM units, approximately 126,000 BSI Agents, and payment networks through BSI QRIS and EDC accessible in real time.
Beyond digital service readiness, BSI has allocated approximately IDR 45 trillion in cash to meet transaction needs during the Ramadan and Eid holiday period, to be placed in ATMs and operational branch cash reserves.
Anggoro reaffirmed BSI’s commitment to providing the best service to customers during the Eid holiday period.
“We are ready to serve customer needs during the Eid al-Fitr holiday as part of BSI’s commitment to continue serving wholeheartedly,” he said.
Amid rising transaction trends, Anggoro also cautioned the public to remain vigilant against various fraud schemes operating under the bank’s name and to verify information authenticity through official Bank Syariah Indonesia channels.
