BSI Explore 2026: UBSI Students Invited to Learn from the Realities of Community Life
Bekasi - Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) has again opened its flagship programme BSI Explore 2026, an initiative that invites students to step out of the classroom and directly into the social realities of the community.
In an increasingly competitive job market, field experience is no longer a mere bonus. It has become the ‘new currency’ determining how ready someone is to face the world after graduation.
BSI Explore 2026 is not merely a programme of village visits or formal community service activities. Here, students are truly placed in real situations that require them to think, act, and adapt.
They will confront social challenges on the ground, from cross-community communication and community dynamics to problem solving that is not always covered in textbooks. And it is precisely there that the learning value emerges. Not neat, not theoretical, but real.
The programme is designed to sharpen skills that are often not adequately taught in the classroom. Such as leadership, communication, and the ability to make decisions in less-than-ideal situations.
Because in the real world, problems do not come with multiple-choice options. They come with conditions that are sometimes confusing, sometimes sudden, and often unpredictable.
Three Benefits Not Merely Stated in the Brochure
Selected students for BSI Explore 2026 will gain several benefits that have a direct impact on their academic journey and career.
First, there is credit transfer (konversi SKS) that keeps the activities integrated with the curriculum, so students do not fall behind academically.
Second, networking that expands opportunities to meet community figures and professionals who could become mentors in the future.
Third, personal transformation that often becomes the most valuable outcome. Because in the field, students learn not only what they know, but who they really are.
Learning to Become an Agent of Change
According to Ade Suryadi, the chair of the BSI Explore 2026 organising committee, opportunities like this do not come twice. He calls BSI Explore 2026 a ‘golden ticket’ for students who want to go further than a mere bachelor’s degree.
Not only to learn, but also to contribute. Not only to be students, but to be part of change in the community.
Limited quota, unlimited impact
As in previous years, enthusiasm for the programme remains high. Yet the quota is limited.
BSI Explore 2026 is not merely an academic journey. It is a life training. Because in the end, what shapes us most is not just the classroom but also the real-world realities we face out there.
