BSI Explore 2026 to Reach 38 Partner Villages Across Indonesia

Students are not only required to master theory in the classroom, but also to understand the needs of the community directly. Through the BSI Explore 2026 programme, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), as a Digital Creative Campus, provides an opportunity for students to engage in community service across various regions. BSI Explore 2026 is a flagship Community Service Programme (PKM) involving selected students from various UBSI campuses. During the one-month programme in 2026, participants will be placed in 38 partner villages to carry out work programmes designed according to the specific needs of the local communities. Ade Suriyanto, Chair of BSI Explore 2026, explained that the programme serves as a platform for students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies. He noted that field experience helps students understand social issues while developing their adaptability and collaboration skills. ‘This programme is systematically designed to provide selected students with the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge and skills gained during their studies in the community,’ said Ade on Friday (17/7/2026). He explained that each team consists of five students who will be accompanied by a Field Supervisor Lecturer. This guidance ensures that all work programmes run according to their objectives and provide benefits to the community. ‘For one month, participants will be placed in teams across 38 partner villages to carry out the planned work programmes. Each team of five students will be under the guidance of a Field Supervisor Lecturer to ensure the achievement of the programme’s goals and outcomes,’ Ade clarified.
