Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (stock code: BRIS) on Friday (5/6) carried out the payment of cash dividends for the 2025 fiscal year amounting to Rp1.51 trillion to its shareholders. This dividend payment follows the decision made during the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on 5 May 2026.

“This dividend distribution serves as motivation for us to continue improving performance and providing greater benefits to all shareholders, customers, and stakeholders. BSI is optimistic about maintaining healthy and sustainable growth,” said BSI Corporate Secretary Wisnu Sunandar in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.

The distributed dividend is equivalent to 20 per cent of the 2025 fiscal year net profit, which reached Rp7.57 trillion. Consequently, shareholders received a dividend of Rp32.81 per share, a 44 per cent increase compared to the previous year’s amount of Rp22.78 per share.

The Company stated that this dividend distribution reflects its commitment to providing added value to shareholders alongside sustainable performance growth. Shareholders entitled to receive the dividend are those recorded in the Company’s Register of Shareholders (DPS) as of 19 May 202le.

Wisnu explained that throughout 2025, the Company’s positive performance was supported by healthy financing growth, an increase in low-cost funds (CASA)—particularly Hajj savings and bullion banking—and the acceleration of digital transformation, which successfully expanded service reach to the public. This positive performance was further bolstered by product innovations relevant to customer needs and the development of digital capabilities to enhance transaction convenience, resulting in a customer base of 23.7 million by early 2026.

Wisnu also expressed appreciation for the trust and support of all shareholders and customers who have been part of the Company’s growth journey. Given the solid performance throughout 2025, he added, the shareholders decided on the dividend distribution as a form of appreciation for the Company’s achievements. “Currently, we continue to strengthen our business fundamentals to maintain sustainable growth,” said Wisnu.
