BSI Digination Returns, Building a Personal Brand in the AI Era
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Building a personal image in the digital era has become important for the younger generation, particularly students preparing to enter the workforce and the creative industry.
In light of this development, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) is once again presenting an inspirational event titled Seminar BSI Digination Scale Up: AI & Public Speaking for Personal Branding, to be held on Friday, 23 May 2026.
The seminar will run from 08:30 to 12:00 WIB at Hall C of the BSI Convention Centre (Convex), Jalan Raya Kaliabang No.8, Perwira, Kecamatan Bekasi Utara, Kota Bekasi.
The seminar provides a forum for students and young people to understand how Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology can be used to build personal branding, enhance communication skills, and strengthen personal branding in the digital era.
Guest speakers include content creator and influencer David Rizal, who will share his experience in building a personal brand on social media and in the digital world. In addition, the seminar will feature Verry Riyanto, Head of IT at UBSI, who will discuss the use of AI in personal development and the professional world.
Under the banner “#MenangSebelumLulus” (the Indonesian hashtag meaning “Win Before Graduation”), the event is expected to equip participants with relevant skills before entering the job market.
Not only will AI developments be discussed, the seminar will also invite participants to understand the importance of public speaking as a primary skill in building a positive image and boosting self-confidence in the digital era.
Muhammad Tabarani, Head of the Kaliabang UBSI Campus, said the seminar is one of the university’s efforts to provide insights relevant to current industry needs.
Students today must be able to adapt to technological developments, including AI. However, communication and public speaking skills remain important values in building one's personal image and career in the future.
“Therefore, we are presenting this seminar so that students can gain practical knowledge directly from speakers who are competent in their fields,” Tabarani said in a statement quoted on Wednesday (20/5/2026).
He also hopes the event will motivate students to continue developing their potential while still at university, enabling them to become a generation that is creative, confident, and ready to compete in the digital era.
