BSD City Project Wins Prestigious International Property Award

Sinar Mas Land has won a prestigious international property award at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2026, held at the Hofburg in Vienna, Austria, for its flagship BSD City project in Tangerang. Deputy Group CEO of Strategy Development and Assets at Sinar Mas Land, Herry Hendarta, stated that the company secured the Silver Winner title in the Masterplan category, an award given to large-scale area development projects with comprehensive conceptual planning and implementation. “We are honoured and proud to once again receive an award from the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2026. This recognition is proof that the planning and development of BSD City as a mega township, which we have consistently carried out, meets internationally recognised standards of quality and sustainability,” said Herry. The FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards is a prestigious international property award event organised by the Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conseils Immobiliers, or the International Real Estate Federation. According to him, the award appreciates the world’s best property masterpieces, judged to excel in various aspects, from development concept and implementation to sustainability, innovation, and contribution to society and the environment. At the event, Sinar Mas Land was one of two Indonesian representatives to win a FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Award in 2026, further strengthening the company’s position as a national developer capable of competing at a global level. From 2011 to 2026, Sinar Mas Land has won 12 awards from the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards. Herry added that BSD City has grown into a home for international-standard educational institutions, innovation and technology centres, business districts, modern healthcare facilities, and green open spaces that support the community’s quality of life. “This award motivates us to continue delivering innovation in the development of independent city areas, which can improve residents’ quality of life and sustainably boost the economic, social, and environmental value of the area,” he said.
