Bromo Sunset Music and Culture promotes traditional arts and local creativity
Through this activity, we want to provide space for expression for art, culture and creative economy actors in Probolinggo Regency so that they can perform and be better known by the public and tourists.
Probolinggo, East Java (ANTARA) - The Bromo Sunset Music and Culture event with the theme “Bromo in Wonderlight” promotes traditional arts and local creativity of local residents which was held at the Seruni Point Amphitheater, Bromo, Probolinggo Regency, East Java, Saturday (16/5) night.
“This activity is a space for collaboration for art and creative economy actors to showcase their best work in the Bromo tourist area,” said Head of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office (Disporapar) of Probolinggo Regency Heri Mulyadi in his statement in the local district, Sunday.
According to him, the activity featured a variety of art performances ranging from music, traditional dances, pantomime to solo martial arts enlivened by the Remime Remind Your Imagination mime community, Vaizh and Friends, Ayu Kindi Nasya with solo martial arts and Ayodya Bahuwarna Dance Studio.
The diversity of performances presented in the activity shows the richness of culture and creativity of the younger generation of Probolinggo Regency which deserves to be appreciated and continuously developed.
“We hope that Bromo Sunset Music and Culture will not only be entertainment, but also be able to strengthen local cultural identity while supporting the development of art and culture-based tourism in Probolinggo Regency,” he said.
“The synergy between art, culture and tourism is expected to have a positive impact on the growth of the local creative economy,” he added.
