Bromo Fully Closed Due to Fire: Here's How to Refund and Reschedule Tickets
Forest and land fires in the Mount Bromo area of East Java have yet to be extinguished. Tourist visits have been temporarily closed, and visitors can apply for ticket refunds or reschedule their visits. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Office has prepared a scheme for rescheduling visits and submitting ticket refunds. This option is available to prospective visitors who registered or purchased tickets for 9 August 2026 up to and including 11 August 2026, or until Mount Bromo tourism reopens. Tourists are free to reschedule their visit to Mount Bromo until 31 December 2026. Meanwhile, full refunds will be transferred to the purchaser’s bank account. The deadline for visitors to decide between rescheduling their visit or requesting a ticket refund is 31 August 2026. The management stated that the refund process takes 3 to 14 working days after the data is verified. Visitors can access the official Instagram account @bbtnbromotenggersemeru and click the link https://bbtnbts.taplink.id to choose the reschedule or refund column and fill out the form, attaching proof of ticket booking and payment.
