Bro Ron Reveals Jokowi's Plan to Attend PSI Regional Coordination Meeting in West Java
The Vice Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Ronald A. Sinaga, also known as Bro Ron, mentioned that the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), plans to attend the PSI Rakornas in West Java at the end of September 2026.
He stated that they are prepared to bring up to five thousand cadres to the Rakorda, provided that Jokowi attends the event.
“One of the reasons is the desire of a regional PSI official who wishes for his presence; due to their great affection for him, our regional chairman has promised that 5,000 cadres will attend the Rakorda if he comes,” said Bro Ron when confirmed on Friday (11/9).
Bro Ron added that the party structure in the region is ready, from the DPD, DPC, to the Ranting levels, making them optimistic about bringing Jokowi to the upcoming Rakorda.
“It is likely to happen at the end of this month,” he said.
Not long ago, Jokowi conducted a political safari to several regions. One of these included a visit to East Nusa Tenggara in early August. Jokowi was in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, for three days from 3_July to 2nd August 2026.
During his series of visits to Kupang City, Jokowi participated in various activities, ranging from meeting seaweed fishermen at Oesina Beach, Kupang Regency, to attending the PSI Kupang City Rakorda, and joining a leisure walk during Car Free Day (CFD) and a cultural carnival.
In his speech at the PSI Kupang City Regional Coordination Meeting on Saturday (1/8), Jokowi mentioned that 100 per cent of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) regional management (DPW) has been formed across Indonesia.
He stated that the PSI management, extending down to the RT/RW (neighbourhood/community unit) levels, serves as the foundation for achieving a major victory in the 2029 General Election.
Jokowi noted that with a complete management structure, PSI will possess a massive party engine to win the upcoming 2029 election.
“Because from here (the RT level management), we will have what is known as a large engine, an engine with high CC, and with this engine, we will move towards a great victory in 2029,” said Jokowi.
