BRMS Directors Scoop Up Shares Worth Over Rp1 Billion
Jakarta, VIVA – The top executives of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) have once again made a substantial purchase of BRMS shares. This time, Charles Daniel Gobel, a company director, is recorded as buying BRMS shares in a transaction estimated to exceed Rp1.03 billion.
Based on the disclosure of information, Charles Gobel made the purchases gradually in the market, on 13 and 16 March 2026. In the first phase, he bought 650,000 shares at Rp811 per share, amounting to approximately Rp527.1 million.
Charles then added to his holdings with 700,000 shares at Rp725 per share, or about Rp507.5 million. With these transactions, his total share ownership increased from zero to 1.35 million shares.
All transactions were conducted for investment purposes and represent direct ownership, without any repurchase agreement scheme. Nevertheless, the portion of ownership and voting rights remains small relative to the total outstanding shares.
BRMS Director Herwin Hidayat stated that the pressure on the company’s shares is more influenced by Indonesia’s macroeconomic factors. Recently, international rating agencies such as Fitch and Moody’s revised Indonesia’s outlook to negative.
The correction trend has been evident for at least five trading days, starting from 12 March when BRMS shares were still around the 870 level. Then, at the close of trading on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, BRMS shares fell to the 680 area, despite recording a 0.74 percent increase.
