British education expo in 3 cities

JAKARTA (JP): The British Education Exhibition, traveling to
Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta, commenced yesterday.

Participating in the event are 54 universities, colleges of
higher and further education and schools specializing in
preparing overseas students to enter British higher education
institutions, the British Embassy announced in a written
statement.

The exhibition, which will last through April 16, will provide
information on pre-university and foundation courses, first
degree, postgraduate and specialist courses available in Britain.

Each institution is being represented by senior officials who
will give guidance to prospective students and answer questions
about courses, fees, admission and living conditions in Britain.
In addition to the main exhibition, short seminars open to the
public are also being held to provide further information.

The exhibition in Surabaya was held yesterday at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel. The one in Bandung will be held tomorrow from
12.00 p.m to 19.00 p.m at the Horison Hotel, while the one in
Jakarta will be held on April 15 and 16 in the Puri Agung Room of
the Sahid Jaya hotel from 12.00 p.m to 19.00 p.m. (bas)
